General Bidding Style
| Strong club with 0+ 1 and natural 2 and 2 both 6+.
Open all 11 HCP and most 10 HCP, allowed to pass 10 HCP when Vul. Lighter HCP possible with shape. 14-16 NT throughout, 13 possible but uncommon. 5422, 6322, 5 card major all common. |
Opening Leads AND Leads in the Middle of the Hand
| 3/low suits, 2/4 NT.
Rus vs Suits in known length only; Rus vs NT always. Middle of the hand leads tend to be attitude based, but can be same count (3/5 or 4) when deemed necessary. |
Defensive Signals
| UDCA. Rare count, common S/P. No Smith, but S/P often played in those situations.
No "Present Count" type signals, very *very* rarely we might give UD "original count" - this would often be the 3rd or 4th card played in a suit, if ever. Much more common to be extended S/P to indicate strength of interest. (Mild, strong, etc.) |
