In 2016, the World Bridge Games, held in Wroclaw, Poland included a Mixed Teams event. USBF originally planned to hold a hybrid online & face-to-face selection event, the 2016 Mixed United States Bridge Championship to select its Mixed team for Wroclaw. When only 8 teams entered the event, the USBF Board approved the recommendation of the Mixed USBC Committee to hold the entire event face to face immediately following the Summer NABC in Washington, DC.
MOSS (S Moss-Seamon, B Moss-Winestock Picus-Ornstein) team won the 2016 Mixed USBC and finished fourth in the 2016 World Mixed Teams.
