Congrats to all the USA teams who recently completed the World Youth Bridge Teams Championships in Salsomagiorre Terme, Italy!
At the Closing Ceremony, we finished with 3 silver medals, 1 bronze medal, and a Joan Gerard Sportsmanship Award!
Overall, this year's junior bridge accomplishments included:
- Strongest overall performance by all teams - every team showed they were competitive in the field in either the teams event or the BAM. We had 6/10 teams in the QF, 4/6 onto Semi-finals, and 3/4 onto the Finals.
- Most KO medals - 3 silver and 1 bronze (last time was 2 silver and 1 bronze)
- First U26 KO medal since 2006 (when our NPC Joe Grue won the Gold)
- Most USA teams ever sent - 2 in all categories

U21 USA2 Team wins Silver: Xin Ge (Coach), Eric Xiao, Brandon Ge, Charlie Chen, Brian Platnick (NPC), Arthur Gong, Brian Zhang, Kayden Ge
U21 USA1 Team wins Bronze: Jack Boge, Ethan Derman, Michael Haas, Daniel Balof, Avery Silverstein, Michael Haas, Aaron Silverstein (NPC)
U16 USA1 Team wins Silver: Andrew Chen, Zinnia Meyer, Alex Shih, Steve Chen (NPC), Adam Hemmer, Alex Kolesnik (NPC), Kyo Chen, Jeff Xiao
Jessica Udomsrirungruang of the USA1 U31 team wins the Joan Gerard Sportsmanship Award.
