Congrats to all the USA teams who recently completed the World Youth Bridge Teams Championships in Salsomagiorre Terme, Italy!

At the Closing Ceremony, we finished with 3 silver medals, 1 bronze medal, and a Joan Gerard Sportsmanship Award!

Overall, this year's junior bridge accomplishments included:

  • Strongest overall performance by all teams - every team showed they were competitive in the field in either the teams event or the BAM. We had 6/10 teams in the QF, 4/6 onto Semi-finals, and 3/4 onto the Finals.
  • Most KO medals - 3 silver and 1 bronze (last time was 2 silver and 1 bronze)
  • First U26 KO medal since 2006 (when our NPC Joe Grue won the Gold)
  • Most USA teams ever sent - 2 in all categories
