Renee is a CPA who has primarily worked in the entertainment industry in Los Angeles.  An avid movie-goer, runner and wanna be chef as well as leading bridge player.

Cheri Bjerkan

Cheri has lived in the Chicago area ever since graduating from UIUC. She says: "Bridge has given me so many things: a few life long friends, many good friends, a gold medal, travel to Jamaica, Japan, Monte Carlo, Italy and all over the US. and Canada." She also loves movies, books, sudoku puzzles and gardening. Most important is family, laughter and the love of life.

I've been playing mostly internat'l and nat'l bridge with my women partners or my husband Paul who is taking a sabbatical from bridge for a while. I've been playing with Pam thru 4 NABCs but we have known each other from the days when we had a common partner Randi Montin. We were part of a group of young players that included Jill Myers, Kay Schulle, Shawn Quinn, Renee Mancuso and many other LA  players (Jim Robison, Kerri Sanborn. Barry Crane, Hermine Baron) I recently moved from Las Vegas  to South Dakota and enjoy traveling, bowling, reading and cooking. In Fact I’ve just returned from Bungi Jumping in New Zealand (a must do for both the country and bungi). I hope to try sky diving and a visit to the Gallopagos Islands next.
